Challenge:
- Develop the
TRANS/ACT (Television, Radio And Network Sales/Approval, and Contract
Transaction) and ENS system for Offsite Sales management using
Synon’s Obsydian product.
Solution:
- Using Synon’s Obsydian product, the TRANS/Act System provides
a tool by which salespeople may enter, track, review, and approve
orders for reserving broadcasting time slots. This system interfaces
with ESGI’s existing Broadcasting Management System (BMS), which
actually schedules spots and fulfills the orders entered via TRANS/Act,
as well as with the electronic contracting (EC) system currently
used by sales representatives for initiating orders.
