Solution: - eDirect Services implemented e-MDs Solution Series practice management and EMR software for scheduling, electronic charting, medical billing and imaging using Motion Computing Tablet computers. - These solutions eliminated the billing service, and scheduling is now paperless. The existing paper charts are scanned, reducing space requirement and saving $8 per chart per year. - Dr. DuBois completes the chart on the Tablet PC and the prescription process is automated during charting. The prescription and patient education are automatically printed upon chart completion. - An insurance billing review is generated from the completed chart. In the future, Dr. DuBois will review and approve the chart and the charges will post directly into the billing module, eliminating manual entries from a superbill. - eDirect Services designed and installed wireless networks at both the office and home.
